Copper Bar is widely known for its electrical applications whereas it has very high electrical and thermal conductivity. In addition, copper bars are used in artistic works along with architectural applications because of its corrosion resistance and familiar green patina appearance acheived after being exposed to the elements. Copper have excellent hot or cold workability and is very ductile when heated. 

Copper bar is a kind of non-ferrous metal processing bar, which has good processing properties and high electrical conductivity.

It is mainly divided into brass rod (copper-zinc alloy, less expensive) and purple copper rod (higher copper content).

Purple copper bars is named for it's purplish red color.It has good electrical condutivity,thermal conductivity,corrosion resistance and processing properties, and can be welded and brazed.

Brass bar is made of copper and zinc alloy made of rod-like objects, because of the yellow color of the name. Brass with 56% to 68% copper content has a melting point of 934 to 967 degrees.

The mechanical properties and wear resistance of brass are very good, and can be used to manufacture precision instruments, ship parts, gun shells and so on. Zinc content is different, there will be different colors, such as zinc content of 18%-20% will be red yellow, and zinc content of 20%-30% will be brownish yellow.

In addition, brass sounds unique when struck, so eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns and other instruments, as well as Western brass instruments are made of brass.
